A tiny group of educators and instructors established Advantages Schools of America (ASA) in 2007. Our goal was straightforward: to provide children with access to excellent academic content, regardless of where they live.
We started out simply by having meetings in a coffee shop that had good lattes and free Wi-Fi. This is where we started creating our digital platform and online school, which allowed us to realize our goal of delivering a high-quality education to students whenever and wherever they are. The objective is to become a world leader in creative, student-focused education that overcomes cultural, geographical, and economic divides.
The enrollment of a few displaced students who had nowhere else to turn marked the beginning. With our innovative alternative to conventional school programming, we were able to demonstrate that children could and would succeed. Our online classes and learning experience were a huge hit.
With tenacity, sacrifice, and tremendous support from our families, our program was born. We decided to commit our time to our new business by quitting our paid positions with the districts and colleges where we worked.
At first, we sought to bring about change in our community, but we soon discovered that we could reach people all over the world. We have traveled to more than 30 nations and all 50 states in the United States as a result of this.
The same team of dedicated educators who founded the firm and our recognized, award-winning online school, Advantages Schools of America (ASA), in 2007 continues to own and run them now.
Since those early stages, we have been carefully planning and integrating digital components into a single, highly efficient system. Our students are supported by our learning platform and technology, which gives us the freedom to address the demands of our global partners.
Our well-rounded staff, which is based in northern Nevada and has its own coffee machine, has specialists in school administration, SIS platform implementation, curriculum development, learning programs, and university admissions.
